Frequently Asked Questions

What is Noillirk?
Noillirk is a free daily guessing game played in your browser. Each prompt names a category — a capital city, a breakfast food, a cartoon character — and you type the answer you think most people would give. The more common your answer is on the board, the more it scores and the higher your balloon climbs.
Is this the official Noillirk website?
No. Noillirk was created by Daily and the original game lives at playdaily.org. This is an independent fan edition with its own prompt boards, scoring feel, and guide content — built as a tribute, and linking back to the original so credit lands where it belongs.
How do I play the Daily?
Open the home page and press play — no account, no install. You get ten prompts, 30 seconds each, and they are the same ten prompts every player in the world sees that day. Type what the crowd would say, and finish all ten to bank your streak and compare result cards with friends.
How does scoring work?
Your answer scores by its rank on the board: rank one is worth 100 points, ranks two and three 70, ranks four and five 45, ranks six through ten 20, and an accepted answer below the board still earns 10. Later rounds multiply — ×1, ×1, ×1, ×2, ×2, ×2, ×3, ×3, ×4, ×4 — so a strong finish is worth hundreds. The full breakdown is on the scoring page.
What happens if my answer is right but not on the board?
You get 10 points. Every board is an advance estimate of a hundred-person census, and real answers the census missed still count as real — the estimate says so right on the screen. The points are small by design: the board rewards the common answer, not the defensible one.
How is my answer matched?
Leniently, on purpose. Capitalization, punctuation, and a leading "the" are ignored, plurals of board answers count, and a one-letter typo on a longer word is forgiven. What fails is a genuinely different answer — or the timer. There is more on matching, with examples, on the scoring page.
